A comprehensive wayfinding system for the Stedelijk Museum Amsterdam. The project rethinks how visitors navigate the permanent collection and temporary exhibitions through a minimal typographic system.
Approach
We started from the building itself — its rhythm, its sight lines, its moments of pause. The signage system uses a single typeface at three scales, with color reserved for emergency and accessibility.
